Joe worked for Medina Vision and Laser Centre as their licensed Optician.
He was loved by patients. Joe was known for dressing up as Santa from Thanksgiving thru Christmas, always wanting to bring as much joy into this world as he could. He had people come to him at the office for pictures and always out in public; both adults and children would come up to him while shopping and running errands to get a photo with “Santa”. He believed in all the great things that Christmas represents. He was looking forward to working as Santa after his planned retirement in four years. He also loved woodworking and had almost finished his collection of woodworking tools to master that art after his retirement too. He loved fishing with his wife and children and was always very playfully competitive about it. Although he only got to play Santa for one month out of the year; every day was Christmas for Joe. He always felt so very blessed with the gift of his family, friends and coworkers and the happiness and love they brought to his life.
