Jeanette Ada (Mosher) McCoy, 80, of Ashtabula, passed away peacefully at Ashtabula County Medical Center on March 7, 2022.
Born in Ashtabula on March 1, 1942, she was the daughter of Wanda (Swartz) and Ernest Mosher.
A lifelong resident of Ashtabula, she is survived by her children Daniel R. McCoy, Jr. of Conneaut, Julie (Donald) Clayman of Kingsville, Cynthia S. Dibell of N. Kingsville, Michael J. McCoy of Ashtabula and Traci L. McCoy of N. Kingsville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chad Dibell, Gabriel Lister, Courtney (Tyler) Burkhammer, Cullen McCoy, Melynn McCoy, Ali McCoy, Jacob Pessefall, Meeghan McCoy, Sam Pessefall, James Goodman, Jr. and eight great-grandchildren, sisters, Joyce (William)Tucker, Donna (Jack) Juras, Diana (Ron) Nejbauer, Terri (John) Emerine, Debra (Carl) Nelson, and Denise (Clyde) Cross.
Jeanette passed away 35 days after the death of her beloved husband of 58 years, Daniel R. McCoy Sr; she was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a brother.
Jeanette enjoyed her family life, card games with friends and casino trips with her sisters. Her children will remember her as a warm, loving Mother who spent her life caring for her children and grandchildren. As she wished, no services will be held at this time. Interment, with her beloved husband, will be at held at Union Cemetery In Rock Creek at a later date. Her children would like to extend their deep appreciation to the caregivers at Carrington Park Ashtabula where Jeanette and her husband resided for the past three years.
