Jamee Savel, 38, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2023, at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center following a long, courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on October 17, 1985, in Conneaut, Ohio.
Jamee graduated from Jefferson High School in 2004 and went on to attend John Carroll University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree.
She excelled as a Manager for Just in Time Staffing; her coworkers were like family and her business clients trusted and adored her. Jamee was a longtime cheerleader in junior high and high school and her passion for the sport carried on when she became a mother herself; she was a Cheer Coach in Chardon for her daughter and her friends. Her talent, enthusiasm, and love for the girls on her squads will never be forgotten.
Jamee was a talented singer and actress, she even appeared on Rock This Boat: New Kids on the Block reality series and even had her own YouTube Channel called “Jamee Jams”. She enjoyed traveling, Florida being one of her favorite places to visit. Her true source of joy and happiness came from her beautiful daughter, Isla. Her love for her daughter is what her world revolved around as well as her love for her family. Jamee had so many dear, loving and supportive friends in her life, but her two sisters Natalee and Deanna were truly her two best friends, and the bond they all shared is indescribable.
She is survived by her parents, Rick and Denise (Housel) Helton; her daughter, Isla Savel; her husband, Kevin Savel; her sisters, Deanna Langton, Natalee Langton and Tiffanie Langton; her father, James Langton; her nephew, Alex Mitchell; her niece, Olivia Bozic and several, aunts, uncles and cousins.
No public funeral services will be held.
Jamee’s family would like to thank everyone that gave Jamee love and support over this almost three year battle she had with cancer.
