Howard White

On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, Howard P. White, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 87.

Howard grew up in the hills of north-central, PA working with his family’s dairy farm. He attended both Houghton College and Eastern Nazarene College in Boston before moving to northeast Ohio. He retired from ESAB Welding after 35 years. Many years were also spent growing fruits, vegetables, and flowers at Ridgeview Orchards (Blossom Ridge Farm).

He was married to Alice Horrocks White for 52 years. They raised four children together, Lori, David, Ken, and Rob.

He had a passion for gardening, reading, and ministry. He impacted many through his mentoring and self-less leadership in church small groups and was most recently a member of Family Alliance Church. He was known for his kindness, generosity, work-ethic, graciousness, humility, and patience.

 He is survived by his wife Alice; their children, Lori (Doug), David, Ken (Myra), Rob (Lisa); his grandchildren: Lea, Sam, Mae, James, Elizabeth, and Julia; his brother, Ernest; his sister, Clara; and his children from a previous marriage Steve, Ray, Richard, Cynthia, and Roger.

Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 25th, 2023, from 2:00p-3:00p at the Edgewood Family Alliance Church, 3137 East Center Street, Conneaut, OH 44030.  A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow from 3:00p-4:00p.
