Francis R. McGrath

Francis “Frank” Richard McGrath Jr., 76, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2023, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center in Ashtabula, Ohio.

He was born on June 9, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Francis R. and Meta E. (Jones) McGrath Sr.

Frank worked for 38 years (1966-2004) for the city of Twinsburg in the public works department. He was a resident of Twinsburg, Ohio for over 50 years and a resident of Ashtabula County, Ohio for 10 years.

He enjoyed hiking, traveling, riding bikes and spending time outdoors. He was especially interested in learning about the history of covered bridges, railroads and canals. He was a member of the Twinsburg native Indian dance group for many years.

He is survived by his siblings: Mary Lou Starcher, Daniel (Donna) McGrath, Linda McGrath and Patrick (Bernadette) McGrath; his many nieces and nephews and his friends/caregivers, Debbie and Brandon White.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Barbara Vycital and Kathleen Buccini.

In keeping with Frank's known wishes, there will no be any services held.
