Edward Melaragno
N. KINGSVILLE - Edward P. Melaragno, Jr., 65, passed away Friday May 8, 2020 at University Hospitals Cleveland following a 19 year battle with heart disease.
He was born in Ashtabula on March 11, 1955 the son of Edward P. and Dolores (Warren) Melaragno, Sr.
On August 21, 1978 he married Susan McNally his loving and devoted wife of almost 42 years.
Ed worked for 4 years for Grand River Rubber and the past 7 years at the Grab-n-Go grocery store in Kingsville. He was a member of the VFW and was a bartender there for over 20 years; he was also a member of the E.A.C; Anyone who knew him would know that he had a big personality, loved to make people laugh and would talk to you for hours.
Ed was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle; his life centered around his kids and his grand-kids and his favorite times where those spent with them
Ed is survived by his loving family: his wife Susan; his children: Matt (Beth) Melaragno, Melanie Melaragno, Chad Melaragno and Katie (Neal) Stewart; his granddaughters: Brianna, Bailey and Ola; his sister Sandra (Gene) Carpenter and his brother Michael (Cheryl) Melaragno; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Tina.
A graveside Burial will take place on Wednesday at 1:00 at Greenlawn Memory Gardens with Fr. John Ettinger as the celebrant.
