Dennis W. Manthey

Dennis "Denny" W. Manthey, 59, passed away on January 2, 2023, from a heart attack while on vacation on a cruise in Roatan, Honduras.

He was born on April 9, 1963, the son of Ronald and Shirley (Jeppe) Manthey.

Denny worked various jobs in construction and building homes.  He was previously employed by Duraserve Doors for sixteen years.

Denny was a former wrestler for Geneva High School and placed 6th at the State Championships in 1981 in the 132 pound category.  He enjoyed doing puzzles, coaching and watching wrestling.

He is survived by his fiancé, Beth Ensman of Lillington, NC; his loyal, best friend, Chevy; his siblings: Tammy Hull of Florida, Diane Manthey of Geneva and Pamela Shaw; his nieces and nephews: Josh, Sheena and Brian; his great-nephews: Nathan, Tyler and Jace; his great-nieces, Aubri and Emersyn and their mother, Megan Anderson.

Preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Daniel Manthey, his nephew, Ray Henderson and his brother-in-law, Brian Hull.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 25, 2023, from 2:00p-5:00p at The Grand River Manor, 1153 Mechanicsville Road, Geneva, Ohio, 44041.
