David “Tootie” Green
David “Tootie” Green formerly of Ashtabula, Ohio and currently for over 20 years he has lived in beautiful Pineville, North Carolina passed away on March 10, 2022, after losing a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on July 9, 1957, the son of David and Sharon (Getce) Green.
For the past 20 years he owned and operated Dave’s Handyman Service in the Charlotte, N.C. area. Tootie loved life and for those who knew him well know that he lived life to the fullest. He loved to hit the open road on his motorcycle; he loved NASCAR, and recently his favorite thing to watch on television was Court TV. He was a proud and loving companion, father, brother, grandfather, nephew, and son; he would do anything for his family. He was a loyal friend to many, and he will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his loving companion of the past 25 years Debbie Dunham-Tackett; his children: Wesley Moore, David (Anna) Green III, Kirstina Green, and Stephanie Caudill; many grandchildren and his siblings: Diana Green, Dale (Tina) Green, Donna (Dominic) Green, and Dawn Marie (Alex) Turner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Darla.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at Greenlawn. Calling hours 11:00-12:00 and the funeral starting at 12:00 with Pastor Kenny Roberts officiating.
