Daniel Kelly, the man, the myth, the legend, passed away on August 16, 2023. He has joined his loving mother and brother, which he so dearly missed.

Danny was born on June 5, 1942, in Chardon, Ohio, the son of Kathryn (Turopalac) Kelly.

On June 6, 1970, he married the love of his life, Loretta Jane Easter; they shared fifty-three years of marriage together and were blessed to have four wonderful children.

Danny graduated from Jefferson High School in 1960 and continued with his education by attending two years of college. In 1964 he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country.

He owned and operated K&S Trucking business for more than thirty years before retiring.

Danny enjoyed hunting, cars especially hot rods and attending antique swap meets. His greatest source of joy and happiness was spending time with his family.

Danny leaves behind his beautiful bride, Loretta; his beloved children: Chris (Ann) Kelly, Joe Kelly, Jackie (Jason) Whiddon and Bobbie (Jeff) Smith; his two grandchildren, Paige and Aiden as well as many nieces, nephews and cousin’s who he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Kathryn and his brother, “Junie” Kelly.

At his request, there will not be any calling hours.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Footville Cemetery, 3030 Trask Road, Trumbull Township, Ohio, 44084.
