Charles (Charlie) Hurley Hill
October 25, 1956 – October 23, 2023

Charlie was welcomed into the loving arms of his Savior on October 23, 2023.

Charlie was a hard-workingman who loved to fish and help anyone in need. He had a heart of gold and will be a deeply missed presence in the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. Charlie was a loving husband for over 43 years to his surviving wife Pamela (Hester) Hill. Together they had two sons, Todd (April) and Mac (Denea), a daughter, Megan and a son-in-law, Joe McIntosh. Charlie was a doting grandpa to five granddaughters and four grandsons, who all knew of his generosity, especially for sweets and treats. Charlie was also a true friend and father figure to so many others whom he cared for as if they were his own family.

Preceded in death by his parents, Hurley and Dorothy (Street) Hill, from Virginia. Born in Akron, Ohio.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the staff at both Aultman and Summa Akron City Hospitals for the wonderful care and treatment they worked so hard to provide to Charlie. Thank you also to Mike Czup for walking the family through this process.

A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held on November 11, 2023, at 10:00am at the Sanctuary Church of God located at 6535 Maplebrook Street NE, East Canton, Ohio 44730.
