Barry Thomas Rozman, 78, passed away on April 30, 2023, following a courageous battle with liver and lung cancer.
He was born in Bedford, Ohio on September 8, 1944, the only child of Stephen and Marion (Boyles) Rozman.
Barry graduated from Colebrook High School and in March of 1962 at the age of 17, he very proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served his country for 4 years.
Barry was always a hard worker; he worked a combined 40+ year career at Detrex Chemicals, Elkem Metals, and Rockwell Brake (Boeing). His hobbies basically revolved around his love for his country as a member of the Ashtabula D.A.V., Vietnam Veterans of America #231, American Legion #103, V.F.W., A.N.U. and the Post #103 Legion Honor Guard. The only thing greater than the love of his country was the love of his family.
He is survived by his loving family: his children: Rodney (Kelley) Rozman, Michael (Jen) Rozman, Randy (Claudia) Rozman, and Gaylene (Nick) Baker; his loving companion Jeanne Martin; his 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Marion "Peggy" Rozman-Yunkman; his son Timothy Rozman in 1995, his granddaughter Samantha and his stepfather Ed Yunkman.
