Arleen Swartout

Arleen R. Swartout, 57, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on May 24, 2021 at her home in Ashtabula, Ohio.

Arleen was born on August 3, 1963 in Euclid, Ohio the daughter of Richard and Lorraine (Brenier) Morano.

Arleen married the love of her life, Michael Swartout on September 24, 2011. Arlene was a Senior Account Specialist for Lake West Medical Center, she truly enjoyed her job and those that she worked alongside with.  She excelled at her job and took pride in her work.

Arleen had many hobbies and interests: she enjoyed traveling, camping, riding on her husband’s Harley Davidson, gardening and reading.  Arleen was always willing to lend a helping hand and would do anything for anyone in need.  Her true source of happiness was spending time with her loving family and friends.

Arleen is survived by her loving husband, Michael, her beloved children: Jacob and Ian Bailey; her grandchildren: Gabrielle, Caiden and Chloe and her siblings: Richard (Helen) Morano and Michael Morano, as well as her cats Ikey, Squeaker and Princess.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, June 2 at 1:30 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 600 Walnut Street, Geneva, Ohio (on Route 84 across the street from Kiwanis Park).
